All companies registered in Mauritius must submit financial statements to the FSC (Financial Services Commission) annually.
The financial summary must be filed within 6 months of the end of the fiscal year.
Example: If the end of the year of the company falls on December 31, then the financial statements must be filed by June 30.
If the company’s fiscal year ends on June 30th, financial statements must be filed by December 31st.
If not filed by the due date, late submission penalty will apply ($ 10 per day excluding Saturday and Sunday).
The accounting records of companies must be kept up to date for all companies, regardless of whether they conduct any activity or not.
Accounting fees include:
- Accounting;
- Balance sheet and financial statements; and
- Submission of documents to the authorities of Mauritius.
