Opening an account in Hellenic Bank (Cyprus)

The bank was established using the capital of Bank of America in 1976. The main core of the bank’s shareholders consists of large insurance companies, church organizations, banking staff, individuals and other Cypriot banks, while no more than 10% of the shares are concentrated in the hands of one owner.

In addition to traditional banking operations, the bank is engaged in cash leasing, factoring, stock operations, insurance, control and regulation of financial portfolios, bank investments, mutual funds, private banking operations and deposit deposits.

Hellenic Bank was the first bank in Cyprus to offer an additional e-service in Russian and Greek, launching the Hellenic Net Banking system.
